The process!
Lets Meet
& Discuss
Once you’ve filled out the Mural Inquiry Form, we’ll set up a time to chat about your project, answer any questions, and talk through your vision. If we both feel like it’s a great fit, I’ll put together a contract so we can officially get started.
time for Revisions
Once we’ve established the overall direction, I’ll refine the design and send you the finalized drawing. You’ll also have the opportunity to request smaller edits or adjustments.
Mood Board & Contract
After our call, I’ll create a custom mood board for your project. This helps make sure we’re aligned on the overall style, colors, and creative direction before I begin designing. I’ll also send over your contract, and once it’s signed, I can officially begin the design process.
Final Design
& Approval
When the design is ready, I’ll superimpose the final mural onto photos of your space so you can get a realistic idea of how it will look once completed. Once you’ve signed off on the final design, we’re ready for the fun part!
First Design
This is the first draft of the overall project design. It will include an overall sketch of the design and color palette options. This is where I want the most feedback from you before we finalize things.
!Paint!
Let the painting begin! Depending on your project and space, murals can be painted directly on-site or created in other formats, such as a large-scale printed installation for a more temporary option. Whatever we decide is the best fit for your project, your mural will be ready to make an impression.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Mural pricing starts at $22 per square foot, with a $1,500 project minimum. This includes the design, materials, and labor.
The final price of your mural depends on a few factors, including:
Square footage — Larger murals require more time and materials.
Wall texture — Brick, stucco, ridged walls, and other heavily textured surfaces can require additional preparation and painting time.
Accessibility — If the wall requires a lift, scaffolding, or other special equipment, those costs will be added to the estimate.
Design complexity — A simple graphic design will typically require less time than highly detailed artwork, such as realism, intricate line work, or other highly detailed elements.
Special materials or equipment — Any materials or equipment outside of what is normally required for the project will be included as an additional cost.
Don’t worry — if your project requires any additional costs, everything will be discussed with you and included in your estimate before we get started.
-
The design process typically takes up to one week, depending on the project and feedback.
Once the design is approved, mural installation generally takes 3–14 days, depending on the size, complexity, and accessibility of the mural.
-
Once your contract is signed, a 50% deposit is required to reserve your project date.
The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the mural.
You’ll receive an invoice with the option to pay by direct deposit or card.
Need a little more flexibility? Payment plans are available, just ask, and we can discuss an option that works for you.

Before I arrive, I ask that the area around the mural be free of movable furniture and other obstacles. This allows me to easily access the wall and work efficiently.
If the wall has existing damage, I do not provide wall repairs. I’ll prep and paint the wall as-is unless it requires power washing or additional preparation before the mural can be started.
If your wall needs additional preparation, I’ll let you know ahead of time.

Your project includes two design concepts and two rounds of revisions.
The initial design concepts will be presented in full color, but they won’t be as polished or detailed as the final mural artwork. These concepts are meant to give you a clear understanding of the overall composition, color palette, and what you can expect from the finished mural.
After the included two rounds of revisions, additional design revisions are available for a $100 design fee.
The goal of the design process is to make sure we’re on the same page creatively before the mural moves into production.
